How are residencies funded?

The residencies at Two Cities are fully support raised. Each resident will be responsible for raising their own salaries for the two-year residency. But we want to take the fear out of the support raising process! Two Cities has partnered with an incredible organization called Reliant that trains, coaches, and manages everything you need. With the best tools and resources at your disposal, support raising raising will be an excellent training ground for future opportunities in ministry.

What will I be doing?
Your job description and responsibilities will largely depend upon which residency you participate in. The College Residency focus on reaching the college campuses and making disciples among college students. The Ministry Residency varies per ministry area and is tailored accordingly. The Pastoral Residency involves working closely beside our lead pastors and getting a front-row seat in learning how to lead a church.
What kind of degree will be offered?
In order to maximize the residency experience, we offer a single track Master of Arts in Ministry.
Does anything else come with the program?
Two Cities Church will provide you with a MacBook during your residency that is free for you to keep after the residency has ended.
Will housing be provided?
You will be responsible for your own housing, and Two Cities does not cover any moving costs. If, however, you need helping finding a place, we may be able to make some suggestions.
What does the application process look like?

The application process consists of four stages.

  • Connect: After you submit your interest form the Pastor of Leadership Development will connect with you over an initial phone call.
  • Apply: If the residency is a good fit for you, then you’ll complete a formal application and have your first interview.
  • Assess: Those selected to continue the process, will undergo a more in-depth professional and personality assessment. The application process will also officially begin with Reliant, our support raising partner. There will be a final on-sight interview, if possible.
  • Decision: If an offer is made and accepted, you will go through support-raising training and enroll in our degree program.
