The Sword & The Trowel – Ask (Nehemiah 2)
Nehemiah shows us what it looks like to reorder our lives around God’s heart. Though he had comfort and influence, he chose faithfulness over ease and allowed prayer to reshape his desires. Success, position, and resources became tools for God’s glory, not ends in themselves. The invitation is practical and missional: speak of Jesus in everyday moments, steward your influence for eternal impact, and live with intentional rhythms of prayer, community, and courage. As we pray boldly and live wisely, God uses ordinary faithfulness to bring renewal to the city and glory to the King.
