The Preached Word (2 Timothy 4:1-5)
As we continue through 2 Timothy, we come to Paul’s final and urgent charge to Timothy: preach the Word. This is not merely a personal directive—it’s a call to the entire church to center our lives around the faithful proclamation of Scripture. Preaching isn’t about sharing personal opinions or bending Scripture to fit our preferences; it’s about declaring the whole counsel of God with clarity and conviction. Through the ministry of the Word, God aligns our hearts with His will, shapes our minds by His truth, and strengthens the church for the work of following Jesus and leading others to do the same.
